Pushing Through Tiredness: Why Your Best Matters

Yesterday was the company holiday party, and yeah, I stayed up way too late. Ended up falling asleep at 3 AM. That’s twice this week already, and it’s only Wednesday.

Woke up this morning feeling like, “Ugh, I’m so tired, I just want to sleep,” and “Today’s gonna be a chill day, just doing the bare minimum.” But then I caught myself and thought, “Come on, Roberto, you’re 31. Sure, we’re getting older—we clap when we dance now—but don’t push it too far.” So, here I am, pushing through and not letting myself off the hook with excuses.

Am I still tired? Of course. But my mood’s way better than when I woke up, and I’m getting stuff done without stressing.

Not saying you should pull all-nighters or skip sleep, but don’t let yourself off easy just because you’re tired.

Tonight, I’m hitting the bed early, catching up on sleep, and getting ready to crush the rest of the week.

No big deal. Let’s go.
